If you are new to raising chickens or about to start, this class is for you! The class will be held onsite at Happy Wife Acres near Fairborn, Ohio. The 3-hour class will consist of:
- Presentation material discussing the basics of raising chickens, including:
- Reasons for raising chickens
- Breeds to choose
- Food & housing
- Predator control
- Illnesses
- End of life
- Tour of Happy Wife Acres chicken facilities
- Opportunity to taste farm fresh eggs
The class will being promptly at 10 am and last approximately 3 hours.
