Egg Hatching Services

If you have eggs to incubate but do not have an incubator, we can do that for you, or you can rent one of our incubators.

Whether you want us to incubate your eggs or rent an incubator, please understand that while we carefully control and monitor temperature and humidity, we cannot guarantee that all eggs will hatch. Some eggs won’t be fertilized, some embryos die before hatching, some never make it out of the shell, and some die shortly after hatching; it’s just nature. For chicken eggs, expect a 50-60% hatch rate. Guineas, ducks, and quail will be slightly higher.

Select eggs that are relatively clean, have a nice shape, and aren’t too big or too small compared to other eggs of that species. And of course, you must have a male that is mating with your egg layers!

Hatching fee is $20 whether you take the incubator home or have us incubate. Rented incubators must be cleaned and returned within 3 days after hatching. All hatched birds must be picked up within 3 days after hatching.
